Has Facebook become FaceSpace?

I use to be a pretty heavy user of Myspace back in 2006 as were most of my friends. As i was reluctantly converted to
Facebook I’ve never looked back and here’s why and why Facebook may have just reached the same point:
These are the reasons I left Myspace:
- I didn’t like Tom, he would never reply to my messages
- I would get friend requested by random naked girls who were just after my money
- I could never log on to Myspace when I wanted it was always when Myspace was ready for me
- I started getting wall posts by the hour that made no sense what so ever!
- Myspace would destroy my sence of reality by being “online bling”
- I had to listen to music everytime I loaded a different page
- I started getting a bit too obsessed with my profile views, but I was the highest ranking person out of my friends(ignoring point 2)
- I didn’t own Myspace although the name contradicts it
- Myspace looks like a billboard of adverts
- I had to keep saying I was happy to use my current Myspace even though there was a “Uk” version.
Reasons why FaceSpace is evolving :
- I don’t like the fact the owner of Facebook is younger than me
- Facebook should be called Closedbook it’s never working!
- These applications are all and good and well when they work but most of the time you ust get an error message
- Im getting friend requests from naked women again
- Im getting random friend requests and pokes then feel used as their profiles are just advertising
- I find myself refreshing a screen to see if anything has happened - im never going to get this time back!
- I got “tagged” kissing a girl which my ex-girlfriend didn’t like (even though we wern’t together)
- When I get drunk I forget about Facebook then have to see how bad I looked the night before.
- I don’t get the name
- Vampires don’t exist
As you can see im on the brink of finding the next “un-spoilt” thing. A complete social nightmare.

One Response for "Has Facebook become FaceSpace?"
Amen to this - I experienced the same transition from Myspacee to Facebook. Facebook is not hung up on the flashy crazy profile pages that are on Myspace, and personally I like that type of clean look. I am there to socialize not show off my css skills or how crazy I can make my screen blind you with glitter glamor stuff.
Nice post!
